1. I confirm all the details are correct and accurate.
2. Any changes to the details post payment might require additional payment.
3. Policybazaar (including its representatives) shall not be held liable for any changes due to incorrect information.
4. Claim can be denied by the Insurer if the declaration made by you about claims & NCB in previous policy is found to be incorrect.
5. Any existing damages that have happened prior to the policy risk start date will not be covered by the new Insurer.
6. In case of any premium difference due to any incorrect information provided including but not limited to vehicle/previous policy related dates or due to delay in video upload, the premium difference will be borne by the customer.
7. Your IDV should be 10% less than Previous Year Policy IDV or as per depreciation norms of Indian Motor Tariff. Insurers consider the same during payment of a Total loss claim/Theft case.
8. You can select additional covers such as 'Owner Driver PA Cover' - which is mandatory if you don't have an existing personal accident cover of 15 Lakhs; 'Paid Driver Cover - which is optional'; 'Unnamed Passenger PA cover in Private Car - which is optional" from add-ons section. 9. I/we hereby confirm that we are not registered under Goods and Services Tax as on date and will not claim the Input tax credit of the GST charged on the policy if the GSTIN is not provided at the time of purchase.
10. I agree and understand the provision of Section 41 of the Insurance Act, 1938 (as may be amended from time to time).
11. I confirm that my car will be re-registered as per statutory requirement (whenever the RC is about to cross the validity period), failing which the policy will not be considered valid.
12. I confirm that my car has a valid PUC certificate. If this information is found incorrect at the time of claim, your claim may be rejected by the insurer.
13. If the name on the Vehicle Registration Certificate (VRC) does not match with the KYC details of the policyholder, it may lead to -Policy Cancellation by the insurer, Claim Rejection during the claims process,Ineligibility for Name Change Endorsement, preventing updates to the policy.Ensure the VRC name matches the KYC to avoid these issues.
14. It is hereby declared that the policy will be valid only if the transfer of ownership is duly recorded in the Registration Certificate (RC) as per Forms 29 and 30 submitted.
15. I confirm that my car will have a renewed Fitness Certificate per statutory requirement (whenever the Fitness Certificate is about to cross the validity period), failing which the policy will not be considered valid.
16. It is hereby declared that any claims arising from pre-existing mechanical or electrical faults indicated by dashboard alerts such as engine check or airbag check lights prior to the policy commencement date or immediately thereafter will not be admissible under this policy.
